Install an Atheros Wireless Driver on a Toshiba Laptop Instructions

Open a web site browser and demand Toshiba Support page (see Resources). Select "Laptops" under "Choose Category," then select your laptop's surname under "Choose Family." Select your laptop's model number under "Choose Model," then click "Go." Select "Wi-Fi" through the second drop-down list beside "Refine Search By," then locate and click on the Atheros Wireless LAN driver in the results list.

Click the "Download Now" button on the driver's page to download the installation file. Double-click the downloaded driver file after it finishes downloading and click on "Run" within the "Open File - Security Warning" prompt.

Click on the "Start" button within the driver's extractor to extract and install all of the needed driver files. Click "Yes" around the User Account Control prompt if this appears, then restart your personal computer to try and do the installation process. Windows detects your wireless card and its particular new drivers following your reboot. |
